This Wednesday has opened the website for the animated adaptation of Aho Girl's manga. With the opening of its web portal it is announced the premiere of this television series for next summer, in the month of July. Also shown is the first conceptual image of the Aho Girl anime.
The studio Diomedea (Kantai Collection, Touken Ranbu Hanamaru, Shinryaku !! Ika Musume) is behind this animated project with Kusakawa Keizō (Asura Cryin, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, Sekirei) in the direction of it. Masakazu Ishikawa (Kodomo no Jikan, Shinryaku !! Ika Musume) appears credited as responsible for adapting Hiroyuki's original designs to the anime.
Aho Girl is a yon-koma (manga of 4 vignettes) that writes and illustrates Hiroyuki in the Weekly magazine Shônen Mgazine of Kodansha from the year 2012. The work counts to the moment with 8 tomos recopilatorios in the Japanese market.
This manga tells the story of Yoshiko, a genuinely stupid girl (she can even get all 0 on the exams). She always hangs around her childhood friend, who wants crazy and has to put up with her idiocy.
